The primary goal of Rock ‘n’ August is to continue to contribute to Diabetes research and education. The goal for this year’s event was to bring over $125,000 for research to doctors and researchers who specialize in this disease that affects one in four Canadians.

This five day event has activities including car displays, community barbecues and musical entertainment. Over 600 classic cars were entered in the show and shine on Saturday; a new record. Polished and parked, there were trophies handed out to the many winners in a variety of categories.

The 2011 World Financial Group Continental Cup was pleased to be a part of this important and fun event. Many people visited our booth to try their hand at our curling game and entered to win draw. The blow up rock was very visible and played on the theme of Rock ‘n’ August. Our volunteers passed out lots of brochures and swag and were pleased to answer questions regarding our upcoming event.
