The Lethbridge Team’s Takin’ Care of Business

After the overwhelming success of its business blitz – distributing 10,000 brochures in June – the Lethbridge promotions team is expanding the scope of its awareness campaign for the 2012 Ford World Women’s Curling Championship. Now they’re taking their efforts to the next level with a drive to reach the rest of the community, starting with campgrounds and golf courses in the city and surrounding area. The summer’s heating up with a heavy event schedule that includes appearances at the Alberta International Airshow July 23 – 24, the Canadian Country Weekend music festival in Fort Macleod August 12 – 13, the Whoop-Up Days parade August 23 and the festival market place August 23 – 27. Local organizations are coming on board to help promote the world women’s championship with recent support from the Southern Alberta Ethnic Association and the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization.
