It’s a Party Plus in the Patch for the Capital One Canada Cup

The excitement of the 2011 Capital One Canada Cup carries on long after the last rock has been thrown in the Cranbrook Rec Plex.  That’s when everyone heads straight for the Patch to keep the celebration of championship curling roaring late into the night!

The Patch is renowned for non-stop party action, fueled by a great selection of food, refreshments and an impressive lineup of live entertainment.  It’s also home base for some of the most interesting sidebars of Season of Champions events.

A unique characteristic of curling is the opportunity for fans to meet face-to-face with the elite athletes in the game.  And the Patch is where this special relationship really comes to life! When Cranbrook hosts the first Season of Champions event November 30 – December 4 you can be sure you’ll have the chance to meet all the stars in the Patch. If you’re looking for an autograph from your favourite player, you’re in the right place.  Every competitor will take part in the Team Autograph Sessions Wednesday, November 30th to Friday, December 2nd. Up Close and Personal interviews will also be featured on the same days – and if you’ve never been to one, you’re in for a treat!  The competitors, and other personalities from the world of curling, sit down for a candid question and answer session with the fans. And, if you want to get in the game yourself, put an entry in the Cool Shots tournament.  It’s the small-scale version of the roaring game, played on shuffleboard style tables.  Entry is free and cash prizes are on the line! “You Gotta Be There” for an experience you’ll never forget.  Click here to get your tickets for all the fun right now.
