One of the first orders of business is the launch of the new website.  This is the first place for fans to visit to find all the information relating to next year’s Season of Champions debut event. We’ll provide regular updates on volunteer and ticket information as it comes available, timely articles, team profiles and news on event activities and entertainment. The Canada Cup returns for a second visit to Saskatchewan after Yorkton attracted sell-out crowds in 2009.  The format will again feature the top 14 teams in the country – seven men’s and seven women’s – based on the results at the completion of this season.  The teams will be competing for two berths in the 2013 Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings, joining Kevin Martin and Jennifer Jones – the 2011 Canada Cup champions – in the national curling trials to decide our representatives in the 2014 Olympic Games. The competition will be held in Mosaic Place, the city’s brand new multi-purpose sports and entertainment complex, incorporating state-of-the-art technology and seating for 4,500 spectators. “You Gotta Be There” for the 2012 Capital One Canada Cup – and we’ll be here to keep you in touch with all the developments.
