A Special Night for Fans at the Tim Hortons Brier

The countdown is on for the 2012 Tim Hortons Brier with the opening draw scheduled for Saturday, March 3rd at 1:30 pm.  But for many of the fans the excitement begins before competition gets underway for the Canadian Men’s Curling Championship.

Fan Appreciation Night will be the feature attraction Friday, March 2nd in The Original 16 Patch with invitations extended only to holders of Old Classic and Double Impact full event ticket packages. The exclusive meet-and-greet gathering gives fans the opportunity to take part in the official introduction of all the athletes competing in the Brier.  Along with a hearty selection of food and refreshments, live entertainment will be provided by two of Saskatchewan’s most popular bands – Method 2 Madness and Men Without Shame. Fan Appreciation Night marks the launch of the week-long party in the Patch – the place everyone goes when the games are done to enjoy the food and beverages and rock to the sounds of some of Canada’s hottest bands.  Admission is complimentary with every same-day event pass. A complimentary shuttle service will be provided to ensure fans a safe ride for the short trip from Credit Union Centre to The Original 16 Patch, situated at the Saskatoon Training Centre.
