The Countdown is on for the Capital One Canada Cup of Curling

In just one week the top 14 teams in the country will slide out of the hacks in Mosaic Place for the 2012 Capital One Canada Cup of Curling and the Host Committee is ramping up the ticket drive with a new attendance record in its sights. “This is the second time the event has been held in Saskatchewan… and the first national sports championship to be hosted by Mosaic Place,” noted Host Chair Danielle Sicinski.  “Yorkton had sell-out crowds for the 2009 Canada Cup, but Moose Jaw’s getting ready to break the all-time record!” Single draw tickets are available starting at just $20 for the premiere event on the Season of Champions schedule featuring Canada’s top seven men’s and top seven women’s teams. Tickets for the four draws on Saturday and Sunday, including the semi-finals and finals, are priced at $25. Every ticket to the championship action in Mosaic Place also includes complimentary admission to The Original 16 Patch, right next door in the Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre.  The party in the Patch is rocking all day and into the late hours of the night with live entertainment from some of the hottest bands in the country and a wide selection of food and beverages. Fans also have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with the competitors at Team Autograph sessions and Up Close and Personal interviews and take part in the Cool Shots competition – the small-scale version of the roaring game. “You Gotta Be There” when Moose Jaw packs the house for the 2012 Capital One Canada Cup.  Get your tickets before they sell out by clicking here.
