Single draw tickets on sale for Ford World Men’s

The Host Committee for the 2013 Ford World Men’s Curling Championship, March 30-April 7 in Victoria’s Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, today announced the release of single draw tickets for all 22 draws. “Now fans have the opportunity to stock up on tickets for the games they really want to see,” said Host Co-Chair Keith Dagg. “The draw schedule is available online at our website so they can hand-pick their draws.” Tickets for the 17 round robin draws are just $20.  Seats for the playoffs, semifinal and bronze medal game are $25, and the gold medal game is priced at $35.

Team Canada will play 11 games during round robin play, including three times on the opening weekend. They start off against China, Saturday at 2 p.m. and then face Finland, 9 a.m. Sunday and Scotland on the 7 p.m. evening draw. The complete draw schedule is available by clicking here. Every ticket to the action in the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre also includes complimentary admission to The Original 16 Patch, situated right next door in the Victoria Curling Centre. The party in the Patch will be underway all week long, with a tasty array of food and beverages and entertainment by some of the west coast’s hottest bands. You can even get in on your own championship – sign up for free to play in the Cool Shots competition. There’s some cool cash on the line in the tabletop version of the roaring game. Plus, you can meet all the athletes in person at the Up Close and Personal interviews in the Patch and Team Autograph sessions in the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
