Deb Santos Sends Alberta to the Championship Final

Alberta’s Deb Santos of the St. Albert CC and teammates, Jackie Rae Greening, Diana Backer and Glenna Rubin will advance to Sunday’s championship final at the 2013 Canadian Senior Women’s Curling Championship at the Silver Fox Curling & Yacht Club in Summerside, PEI.

Santos made short work of Manitoba’s Lois Fowler stealing three in the third end and then three more in the 7th end coasting to a 10-4 victory in a game conceded in 8 ends.

Santos will meet Nova Scotia’s Colleen Pinkney, the 2009 Canadian Senior women’s champion and 2010 World Senior women’s champion, in the title game, Sunday at 10:00am EST.
