A pair of perfect reasons to cheer at the Brier

The Host Committee for the 2014 Tim Hortons Brier has announced the release of two new ticket packages for the Canadian men’s curling championship, coming to the Interior Savings Centre, March 1-9.

Double Impact packages offer fans the opportunity to take advantage of significant savings when the greatest names in the game compete in Kamloops for the right to hoist the Brier Tankard, the most heralded trophy in the curling world.

“These new packages are the perfect way for two people to enjoy all the excitement at the same time,” said Host Chair Norm Daley. “And, you have to remember, with championship curling, four separate matches are on the ice at the same… there’s just great shot-making all around the arena!”

The Opener, at just $249, includes two tickets to the first seven draws. The package represents a saving of $100 compared to single draw walk-up prices.

The Champ, designed for fans who want to be in the arena for all the action in the final run to the title, features a pair of prime seats to the last nine draws – including all playoff games and the championship final. Priced at $449, it means a saving of $70 on walk-up tickets.

Fans can also take advantage of the Hit and Stay program offered through FanTravel, the preferred travel partner for the 2014 Tim Hortons Brier. ‘A-La-Carte’ options include accommodation, airport transportation, an event souvenir pack, as well entertainment packages with merchandise, souvenir program and Patch token vouchers. Complete information is available online at

In addition to all the action on the ice at the Interior Savings Centre, every ticket comes with complimentary admission to the Patch and the Purple Heart Lounge, where curling fans gather to celebrate when the last rocks come to rest.

Enjoy a great selection of food and beverages, dance to the sounds of some of Canada’s best bands… and meet face-to-face with the athletes at autograph and interview sessions. And take your best shot in the Cool Shots competition, the tabletop version of the roaring game, with cash prizes on the line.
