2014 Tim Hortons Brier
Presented by SecurTek

The Tankard’s in town for the Tim Hortons Brier

The 2014 Tim Hortons Brier is still four months down the road. But the legendary trophy, symbolic of excellence in Canadian men’s curling, has already made its way to Kamloops.

Twelve teams will compete for the right to raise the Tim Hortons Brier Tankard during the victory celebration at the Tim Hortons Brier, March 1-9 in the Interior Savings Centre. While the best teams in the country battle through provincial and territorial playdowns, fans in the Kamloops region will have an early opportunity for a first-hand look at the ultimate prize.

The Tankard’s opening appearance will come Nov. 15 for the Kamloops Ladies Bonspiel at the Kamloops Curling Club. It will also be on display Nov. 22 at the McArthur Island Curling Club, kicking off the Men’s Grey Cup Bonspiel.

Tim Hortons Brier volunteers have a busy month ahead with a brochure blitz scheduled for the mini pack launch throughout the week of Nov. 15-22. The event booth will also be part of the action at Lights in the Night Downtown Nov. 28 – with a chance for visitors to enter the ‘In It To Win It’ contest – and again on Nov. 30 for Sports Day in Canada at Riverside Park.

Anytime you see the Tim Hortons Brier booth, stop by to take your shot at Rock Pong. You might just win some very cool Tim Hortons Brier gear!
