All kinds of entertainment lined up in Kamloops!
- Updated: January 23, 2014
Entertainment is the name of the game when the most talented players in the game hit the ice to compete for the Canadian men’s curling championship. This year, thousands of fans from across the country will gather at the Interior Savings Centre in Kamloops, March 1-9, for all the excitement of the 2014 Tim Hortons Brier.
Everyone knows curling fans love to party – when the games are done it’s time for even more fun… and that’s where the Patch comes into play.
The Patch is home to the nine-day party that will be in full swing throughout the Tim Hortons Brier. It’s situated in the Memorial Arena, just a short walk or complimentary shuttle ride from the Interior Savings Centre.
You’ll find a great selection of food and beverages and a nightly lineup of live entertainment. Plus, you can meet the athletes during daily Up Close and Personal interviews, or step next door to the Kamloops Curling Club for Team Autograph sessions.
For those fans who feel the competitive urge, they can sign up for free to take part in the Cool Shots championship. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top shooters in the tabletop version of the roaring game.
The party in the Patch kicks off Feb. 28 with Fan Appreciation Night, where Old Classic and Double Impact ticket holders are invited to meet with the competitors from all 12 teams, and dance to the sounds of the Chevelles.
