World’s best spark the competitive flame in Las Vegas

Twelve of the top teams in the game will compete in the 2014 World Financial Group Continental Cup, Jan. 16-19 In Las Vegas. Nine of the foursomes taking part in the international curling classic will move on, just one month later, to the biggest stage in the sporting world.

When the 10th edition of the World Financial Group hits the ice in the Orleans Arena, fans will see a star-studded cast that encompasses the hottest shooters the sport has to offer.

Team North America features the Brad Jacobs and Jennifer Jones teams that will represent Canada in Sochi, along with the Erika Brown and John Shuster teams destined to wear the stars and stripes for the United States.

Five of the six teams competing for Team World in Las Vegas also have tickets booked to compete in Russia this February. The list includes Scotlands’s David Murdoch and Eve Muirhead, who will represent Great Britain, as well as Niklas Edin and Margaretha Sigfridsson of Sweden and Norway’s Thomas Ulsrud.
