Award winners announced at 2014 Canadian mixed

A brother-sister combination from New Brunswick headed the 2014 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship all-star team, which was announced Saturday night in Ottawa.

New Brunswick skip Sylvie Robichaud scored an event-high 82 per cent for her round-robin shooting percentage to earn all-star honours, while her brother Marcel Robichaud topped all thirds with an 84 per cent mark.

Rounding out the all-star team was Ontario second Greg Balsdon (86 per cent) and Manitoba lead Calleen Friesen (84 per cent.
Newfoundland/Labrador skip Gary Oke and Nova Scotia lead Katarina Hakansson won the sportsmanship awards.
