The Host Committee for the 2014 Ford World Women’s Curling Championship, presented by Booster Juice, coming to the Harbour Station sports and entertainment complex March 15-23, has announced a new partnership with the Saint John Board of Trade.
“This represents a crucial alliance for both the event and the greater Saint John area,” said Jeff Lacey, Host Chair for the Ford World Women’s. “As a member of the Board of Trade, we’re trying to extend benefits to our fellow members… on the other side, it provides us with a critical link to the corporate community. It’s a win-win situation for both organizations.”
David Duplisea, Executive Director of the Saint John Board of Trade, is equally excited by the potential spin-offs. “We’re thrilled to be part of such a prestigious, world-class event. Anytime we can attract an event of this stature, it’s just great for our city and our businesses… and we definitely want to be a part of it.”
The Board of Trade members will receive ongoing communications relating to the event, including details on upcoming ticket offers through regular updates on the Board of Trade’s web page, Facebook and Twitter accounts, as well as speaking engagements by Host Committee representatives at member functions.
