The Tim Hortons Brier is back in Calgary
- Updated: March 25, 2014
It was 2009 when the Canadian men’s curling championship was last contested in Calgary. At the conclusion of nine exciting days of competition, Alberta’s Kevin Martin cruised to the title with an unblemished record – for the second consecutive year.
Another notable fact is that it set the third highest attendance record in the history of the event. And a large share of the credit goes to the hundreds of volunteers who worked so hard to ensure its success.
The 2015 Tim Hortons Brier, presented by SecurTek will return to the Scotiabank Saddledome, Feb. 28 – March 8. The Host Committee is taking the first step to build another team that is ready to carry on Calgary’s legacy of volunteer support.
