The world’s top men’s curling teams will gather in Halifax for the 2015 Ford World Men’s Curling Championship. The 13 curling clubs within 100km of the Halifax Regional Municipality and the Canadian Curling Association are coming together with one goal in mind – a great curling event. Their meaningful contributions both behind and in front of the scenes are indispensable and their tireless efforts are often as profound as the event itself.
Volunteers are the backbone of the event and those that invest their time, to ensure that this Ford World Men’s Curling Championship is successful, will have a memorable volunteer experience and provide a major benefit to the community.
The volunteer window has now been closed. Thank you to all applicants!
On behalf of Atlantic Superstore® and all of our colleagues across Nova Scotia, we want to thank you, and all of the volunteers, who generously offer their time to support the 2015 Ford World Men’s Curling Championship. Our city has a long history of successfully hosting international sporting events, and our fans are legendary for their enthusiasm and their pride in the community. The Ford World Men’s Curling Championship is a marque event for the sport of curling, and a great opportunity for all of us to come together, celebrate, and of course enjoy a sport that we all love. Events like this could not be possible without volunteers such as you who generously offer time to ensure the event is truly world class, as well as an opportunity to showcase our world class Maritime pride.
Volunteers are the backbone of the event, and those that invest their time to ensure that the Ford World’s is successful, will have a memorable volunteer experience and provide a major benefit to our community. As the action gets under way on March 28th, I am confident that this will be the most successful Ford World Men’s Curling Championship ever, and it will be in large thanks to the volunteers such as yourselves. Let’s leave a legacy we can all be proud of. Enjoy the curling!
