White Oaks Mall Transforms Centre Court Dome for Father’s Day Promotion

Gold Sponsor White Oaks Mall and Media Partner FM96 honoured the 2011 Tim Hortons Brier by hosting their very own Father’s Day Curling Brier on Saturday, June 12th, 2010. White Oaks Mall transformed their centre court dome into a 30-foot curling sheet where teams participated in a round-robin competition. Participant Jon Muncaster and his father-in-law Dieter Plobst went undefeated in the four team round-robin tournament and were triumphant in the finals. The dynamic duo won a $960 White Oaks Mall shopping spree; the other three participating teams walked away with $100 White Oaks Mall gift certificates. The 2011 Tim Hortons Brier had volunteers’ onsite applying temporary tattoos and handing out promotional material. The Brier buzz is spreading around the city of London, and will only continue to grow with the help of sponsors like White Oaks Mall and Londoners who continue to make the 2011 Tim Hortons Brier more and more popular each day.
