Volunteers step up the competition at SaskTel Marketing Golf Tournament
The SaskTel Marketing Department Golf Tournament was more competitive than ever this year, thanks in part to the 2011 Ford World Men’s Curling Championship Community Events volunteers.
The volunteers put a life-size curling house in the middle of one of the fairways and golfers had to compete against their own teamates to try and hit their ball “Closest to the Button” out of their foursome.
Every golfer received golf tees or lip balm but only the person in each foursome who got closest to the button was entered in a draw to win the grand prize. Congratulations to Erin O’Hara-Meyers, who won the raffle and received two opening weekend ticket packages for the 2011 Ford World Men’s Curling Championship!
