Old Home week, one of Prince Edward Island’s best-loved traditions, has arrived. Since 1888, Islanders and visitors alike have come to Charlottetown to take part in the vast array of fun, educational and community activities that make up Old Home Week.

Scotties’ Volunteers along side the official Mascot “Little Softie” were on hand Sunday August 15th to participate in the festivities. From musical performances to animal acts to some of Canada’s most popular buskers and performers, “Little Softie” was on site taking in all the excitement.

Robbie Doherty and friends were on site handing out The 2011 Scotties Tournament of Hearts Logo tattoos and spreading the word that soon the midway which currently houses rides, and games will soon be the “house” to another game. The Scotties’ are just around the corner; we invite everyone to get in on the excitement!
