Excitement Building for 2011 Tim Hortons Brier Sponsors and Volunteers
The 2011 Tim Hortons Brier recently held separate events for their Sponsors and Volunteers in London, Ontario.
Local sponsors were invited to attend a Sponsor Workshop at the Best Western Lamplighter Inn on Thursday, October 21st. The workshop gave the attendees an opportunity to learn about the benefits they’ll receive as sponsors of this world-class event. The workshop consisted of an interactive presentation, a discussion on how sponsors can get the greatest return on investment from their sponsorship, and a luncheon provided by the host committee.
The 2011 Tim Hortons Brier would like to thank all of our sponsors. An event of this magnitude would not be possible without their support!
Then on Sunday, October 24th, many of the 500 registered volunteers attended the first volunteer rally in the Carousel Room at the Western Fair. Volunteers had the opportunity to try on their three-piece uniforms and get their photos taken for their accreditation. Directors of each area were also present to meet their volunteers for the first time. Chairman Peter Inch brought greetings from the host committee and rallied the volunteers in preparation for a busy few months ahead. With the help of all our volunteers the 2011 Tim Hortons Brier will be a great success.
