The finest players in the world will be right here in St. Albert to battle for the Continental Cup… including many of the athletes from the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Team North America faces Team world in a challenge competition. Six teams on each side – three men’s and three women’s – compete in Team Games, Mixed Doubles, Singles and Skins competitions.
The Continental Cup format is based on points. A total of 400 are at stake over the four days, with varying amounts applied to each discipline. The first team to reach 201 takes the title.
Every ticket also includes complimentary admission to Keith’s Patch – curling’s legendary party place where fans and competitors alike share an appealing array of food, refreshments and live entertainment. Feature performers include The Classics (Wednesday, Jan. 12), Hey Romeo (Thursday, Jan. 13), Karac Hendriks and The Chevelles (Friday, Jan. 14) and Tera Lee and Souled Out (Saturday, Jan. 15).
