It was the fourth Continental Cup win for North America, following victories in 2002 (Regina), 2004 (Medicine Hat) and 2007 (Medicine Hat). Team World has won three times…2003 (Thunder Bay), 2006 (Chilliwack) and 2008 (Camrose).

It was the second Continental Cup win for Kevin Martin (2002), Carter Rycroft (2002), Jennifer Jones (2007), Jill Officer (2007) and Dawn Askin (2007), but it was the third Cup win for Erika Brown (2002, 2004).
North America had actually clinched the title Saturday night, prior to today’s final two Skins games, by registering 217 points, well above the 201 points needed.
In Sunday’s 55-point Skins games, North America’s Cheryl Bernard defeated Team World’s Bingyu Wang, 42-13 while North America’s Kevin Martin beat Team World’s Thomas Ulsrud , 39-16, taking a 35-point Skin in the seventh end en route to clinching the game and the total points record.
