With just over a month to go before the 2011 Tim Hortons Brier makes its first-ever appearance at the John Labatt Centre March 5 -13, the Host Committee today announced the launch of single draw tickets.
Tickets for all 22 draws are on sale January 29 at 10:00 am – starting at just $14 – for one of the most prestigious events in curling. With the option to pick the draws and times that work best for their personal schedule – from opening day to the championship final – fans can now build their own Brier ticket package.
“We’ve been working hard to make sure everyone understands the significance of the Brier and how much it means to our community,” said Peter Inch, Host Committee Chair. “Our volunteers have been taking the Brier Tankard to Tim Hortons outlets in the London/St.Thomas region for the past several weeks and the reception has been great… we’re looking forward to filling the house at the John Labatt Centre. When they build it, they will come!”
Tickets can be purchased online, by phone at 866.455.2849 or in person at the John Labatt Centre Box Office.
Every same day ticket also includes complimentary admission to Keith’s Patch at the London Convention Centre… Canada’s party place. It’s where fans and competitors alike share an amazing selection of food and beverages, and an outstanding lineup of Canadian bands.
The feature act at the Patch is Lighthouse – the four-time Juno award-winning band – performing their iconic hits from the 70’s, Saturday, March 5 at 11:00 pm. The schedule for the week also includes Blind River Band, Murray Snelgrove, Coral Buffet Band, Brad James Band, Ronnie and the Jets (Elton John Tribute), Gerry Finn, Superfreak, the Carpet Frogs, Paul James Band and the Chevelles.
