There’s No Place Like Home Shows for the Canada Cup!

The Community Events Team has been working hard to create excitement and awareness for the 2011 Canada Cup. One of the recent promotional ventures was a visit to the Creston Home Show where Kath Backshell and Community Events chair Brenna Baker worked the room.
Volunteers Jim Hong and Estelle Beaupre spent the weekend of April 29 – May 1 at the Cranbrook Home Show. Their efforts paid off in a big way, generating ticket sales and getting the word out to the people of the East Kootenay’s about this year’s Canada Cup, November 30 – December 4 in the Cranbrook Rec Plex.

Ticket packages can be purchased by phone at 250-426-SEAT or 866-580-SEAT, in person at the Cranbrook Rec Plex Box Office (Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm), or directly from the Canada Cup office by phone at 778-520-2011. Great seats are still available, but they’re going fast!
