It’s a FANtastic Start to the Canada Cup!

The 2011 Capital One Canada Cup of Curling rocks the Rockies November 30 – December 4 in Cranbrook… and the first Season of Champions event of the year gets off to a roaring start on the eve of the competition.

The festivities kick off Tuesday, November 29th with Fan Appreciation Night featuring the introduction of the 14 Canada Cup teams and the official opening of the party in the Patch. Admission is open to all sponsors and volunteers and complimentary with every Old Classic full event pass. Along with having the chance to sample a great selection of beverages, fans can mingle with the teams and dance to the sounds of Billy Jive and the Funkadelics.  The colourful Cranbrook band, renowned throughout the Kootenays, hits the stage at 9:00 pm and rocks the house until 1:00 am. The disco/funk group brings back all the classics of the 70’s and 80’s in an energized performance complete with comedy, choreography and some wild costume changes!
