At the end of the day, another four teams qualified to compete on the big stage in the Patch January 15th to decide who’ll be the coolest of all the clubs at the 2012 World Financial Group Continental Cup of Curling. First place at Royal City – and $250 cash – went to Bob Lefroy and Curtis Jokinen. Rob Rempel and Arlen Bonesky took the second place prize of $125, and Mark Davis and Keith Reitan and Geoff Krawchuck and Pat Duffin won $60 for the third and fourth spots. There’s a lot more at stake in the finals with $800 for the winners, $400 for the second place finishers and $150 for semi-finalists.  And, the home club of the winning team receives a cheque for $5,000! The last chance to compete in the Cool Shots Club Competition is coming up at the Richmond Curling Club. “You Gotta Be There” to see the best curlers in the world on the ice January 12 – 15 in the Langley Events Centre… and the coolest shooters on the Lower Mainland on the table in the Patch.  Get your tickets now by clicking here.
