A Meeting of the Mascots in Red Deer

The volunteers handed out t-shirts, tattoos and made sure everyone knew about the upcoming competition, February 18-26 at Red Deer’s Westerner Park.  They were joined by the Scotties Little Softie who helped Rebels mascot Wooly Bully cheer on the home team. Fans also had the opportunity to pose for photos with the Scotties trophy that will be presented to Canada’s best women’s team of the season following the championship final on February 28. The promotions crew was back on the job Saturday, January 14 at Red Deer’s Save-On-Foods along with the trophy and Little Softie, who was a big hit with the kids!  Volunteers provided event information to shoppers and distributed brochures promoting single draw event pass sales. “You Gotta Be There” to experience live championship curling when the best teams in the country come to Red Deer in February.  Excellent seats are available just by clicking here.
