“It’s wonderful that fans have the chance to see every one of Canada’s games on television,” commented Host Committee Chair Jody Meli. “The TSN analysts do a remarkable job of covering the competition… but if you’re a true fan of the sport, there’s a lot of great curling, and a truly unique atmosphere, you’re going to miss if you’re not in the building.” Along with Canada’s Heather Nedohin team, the field includes many of the most exciting players in the game including 2009 world champion and 2010 Olympic bronze medalist Bingu Wang from China, Switzerland’s Mirjam Ott who has earned a pair of Olympic silver medals and bronze at the 2008 Ford World Women’s in Vernon, and Eve Muirhead representing Scotland – the silver medal winner when Swift Current hosted the event in 2010. The commentary for all draws broadcast by TSN will be carried on the 89.9 FM radio frequency so fans can listen live while they watch the action from the ENMAX Centre.  Portable radios can be purchased at the event merchandise store. Plus, every same-day pass includes access to The Original 16 Patch – curling’s legendary party place – with a great selection of food and beverages and the chance to dance to the sounds of some of the country’s hottest bands.
