Team Canada Schedule Released for World Curling Championship

While it remains to be determined who will represent Canada at the 2013 Ford World Men’s Curling Championship, March 30-April 7 in Victoria, curling fans now know when the home team will take to the ice in round robin competition.

Team Canada has three games slated for the opening weekend in the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, starting with the Saturday 2 p.m. draw and the 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. draws on Sunday.

During the week the Canadian representatives will play Monday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.; Tuesday at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.; Wednesday at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.; and Thursday 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. to close out the round robin.

The complete schedule, including the opponents for all games, will be posted on the Ford World Men’s Curling Championship website when it is finalized.

The other countries competing in Victoria are Sweden, Norway, Czech Republic, Denmark, Russia, Switzerland, Scotland, Finland, China, Japan and the U.S.A.
