It was common knowledge that prior to the Olympic Trials in December our team had agreed that if we didn’t win the 2009 Trials we were going our separate ways at the end of the season.
Shannon Kleibrink of Calgary won the women’s final of the Canada Cup, 6-4 over Marie-France Larouche of St-Romuald, Sunday morning at the Farrell Agencies Arena in the Gallagher Centre.
Marie-France Larouche of St-Romuald advanced to the women’s final of the Canada Cup by edging veteran Cheryl Bernard of Calgary, 7-6 in an extra end, in Saturday’s semi-final at the Farrell Agencies Arena in the Gallagher Centre.
Edmonton’s Randy Ferbey and Shannon Kleibrink of Calgary have advanced to Sunday’s finals of the Canada Cup at the Farrell Agencies Arena in the Gallagher Centre.

Between the two of them, they’ve dominated all the previous Canada Cup finals and have won five of the six.
