When the 2013 World Financial Group Continental Cup of Curling takes to the ice in Penticton next January, the most accomplished players in the world will be there to compete in one of international curling’s most prestigious championships.
The Host Committee for the 2013 World Financial Group Continental Cup of Curling coming to Penticton’s South Okanagan Events Centre January 10-13, has announced the sale of Full Event ticket packages starting March 1st.
Heather Nedohin’s tour of her home province will continue, after she and her Edmonton, Alberta rink of Beth Iskiw, Jessica Mair and Laine Peters won the 2012 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Red Deer on Sunday, February 26 with a 7-6 final game win over British Columbia’s Kelly Scott.
The wait had been interminable. Not only for Edmonton skip Heather Nedohin, but for all those observers who fingered her as a future national curling star as far back at the Nineties.
