After getting off to a slow start, Canada’s Youth Olympics curling team rattled off four straight wins to capture the Consolation Event at the John Shea Insurance OVCA Junior Superspiel in Ottawa this weekend.
Thomas Scoffin, of Whitehorse, Yukon, made history the first time he stepped onto the national curling scene in 2007 at the age of 12.
Just a little over three weeks ago, the team was back together again in beautiful Vancouver, B.C. It was awesome to see everyone again, and get to have some more ice time.
