The four top teams at the 2013 Scotties Tournament of Hearts faced off against one another on Wednesday afternoon at the K-Rock Centre in Kingston, Ont., fighting for position at the top of the standings. When the dust settled, it was Manitoba’s Jennifer Jones and Ontario’s Rachel Homan sharing the 7-0 record.
While Heather Nedohin’s Team Canada has been riding a wave of momentum, going 5-0 in the opening rounds of the 2013 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, B.C.’s Kelly Scott has been slowly working her way up in the standings, sitting 3-2 after a decisive 13-7 win over New Brunswick in afternoon play.
After a last-rock loss to Saskatchewan on Monday, Kristie Moore and her Alberta foursome from the Grande Prairie Curling Club hit the ice Tuesday afternoon looking for that elusive first win at the 2013 Scotties Tournament of Hearts.
