In just over a month, the 2013 Scotties Tournament of Hearts will take centre stage in Kingston – and now curling fans have the opportunity to purchase single draw tickets for all nine days of action.
After a full fall schedule promoting the 2013 Scotties Tournament of Hearts – the Canadian Women’s Curling Championship – heading to Kingston’s K-Rock Centre February 16-24, the volunteer team is ready for a well-deserved break over the holiday season.
The third edition of the Scotties Tournament of Hearts Volunteer Newsletter has recently been released featuring updates on promotional events, current ticket offers and an overview of all the activities and entertainment fans can expect at the Canadian Women’s Curling Championship.
Over the past 24 years the Kingston Buskers Festival has energized the downtown district with a diverse range of performers… from musicians and dancers to jugglers and magicians. A summer showcase of street entertainers may seem an unlikely place to talk about curling – but volunteers for the 2013 Scotties Tournament of Hearts were there to let everyone know another major celebration is coming to the city.
Summer’s generally not the time of year for folks to be thinking about curling… but with the 2013 Scotties Tournament of Hearts coming to the K-Rock Centre February 16-24, you’ll be hearing a lot about the roaring game in the Kingston area over the coming months.
