Bob Stewart of Longbow Lake, ON, made the shot of a lifetime to secure his spot as the finalist in the Capital One Million Dollar Button, curling’s only million-dollar fan contest.
Capital One® Canada and the Canadian Curling Association are bringing the Capital One Million Dollar Button™, curling’s only million dollar fan contest, to the Season of Champions events. One lucky fan will win the chance to throw a rock to the button for $1 million (CAD), broadcast live on TSN, during the 2013 Tim Hortons® Brier in Edmonton, AB.
Three years ago, Curl BC signed an agreement and brought the Capital One Rocks & Rings program to the Metro Vancouver region as a pilot project. It proved to be such a success that it has been expanded, and by the end of this curling season, should have the program in every region in BC!
The 25th Annual Timbits Elementary School Curling Championships were held in Parry Sound on April 12 to April 15 and Capital One Rocks & Rings was there!
The Canadian Curling Association (CCA) today announced that the City of Kitchener will host the 2013 Capital One Pre-Trials, presented by Monsanto.
