I must admit our team has had some odd requests since our win last Feb 2010, but I do think this one topped them all!
And I live in Calgary….why?
As I sit down to write this blog its about -14 in Calgary and snowing… pretty, but cold!
As I write this blog Team Bernard has just finished up their 3rd event this season.
It began with a win in our small Calgary Curling Club opener on Sept 10th (I had just flown in two days prior, from a two week African safari so I was a bit jet lagged).
Sometimes I have to pinch myself to believe that my job is real. Everyday I get to rub shoulders with some of the most amazing women in Canadian sport who are doing absolutely exceptional things – the elite performers in women’s curling.
When I look back at our team’s journey and what was accomplished I have to pinch myself – an Olympic silver medal!
