The Scotties volunteer team was in the middle of all the action September 29 for CBC Sports Day at the Royal Kingston Curling Club.
The sport of curling had a presence on the Kingston golf scene over the past summer as the Host Committee for the 2013 Scotties Tournament of Hearts sponsored a Hole-in-One competition at three local courses.
The promotions team for the 2013 Scotties Tournament of Hearts is focusing on the links before the curlers hit the rinks to kick-start momentum for the Canadian Women’s Curling Championship coming to Kingston, February 16-24 at the K-Rock Centre.
