Team Canada women had a strong day at the World Junior Curling Championships in Oestersund, Sweden, defeating Italy and the United States handily with lopsided scores.
Taking advantage of hammer in the first end, Canada’s Junior Women came out strong and scored 3 points to take control of their game against Norway at the 2012 World Junior Curling Championships in Oestersund, Sweden.
Canada’s Jocelyn Peterman recovered from an opening loss to the Czech Republic to post a 7-5 victory over Scotland in the evening draw at the 2012 World Junior Curling Championships in Oestersund, Sweden.
The international curling focus turns to Östersund, Sweden, where the 2012 World Junior Curling Championships get underway today.
She just led Team Alberta to the gold medal at the M&M Meat Shops Canadian Junior Women’s Curling Championship in Napanee – and that’s no surprise when you look at Jocelyn Peterman’s curling resume.
