Brendan Bottcher skipped Team Canada to a gold medal today at the 2012 World Junior Curling Championships in Östersund, Sweden, defeating Sweden 10-4.
Brendan Bottcher and his team of Evan Asmussen, Landon Bucholz and Bryce Bucholz assured themselves of a gold or silver medal at the World Junior Curling Championships with a decisive 9-3 victory over Sweden on Saturday morning.
Team Canada got off to a strong start against Italy in morning action on the fourth day of competition at the World Junior Curling Championships, and carried the momentum into an afternoon victory against Sweden.
