I get asked often. Where did you come from?
And they are not asking, where I was born either. But more, how had I, at 44 represented Canada at the 2010 Olympics when I had previously had so little international experience and no major titles to my name.
I’ve written in earlier entries about my singular focus on curling during the last few seasons. I poured everything I had into my team’s Olympic effort — the rest of my life was put on hold.
