But, nowhere is it more of an addiction than here in Canada, where fans of the Roarin’ Game can get slap-happy in anticipation of our national championships; where the best of the best from across this curl-crazy land come together to compete for supreme bragging rights.

The 2012 Tim Hortons Brier will be contested at Saskatoon’s Credit Union Centre from March 3-11, and the country’s best curlers are now in the thick of provincial play-downs to determine who will comprise the field at the game’s highest profile championship.

 
The Road to Red Deer

With less than two months before the start of the 2012 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Red Deer, Alberta, the best women’s curlers in the country are taking to the ice in pursuit of what, for many, has been a lifelong dream.
