Glenn Howard of Ontario, who has been around for years, had an open hit to win his first game of the 87th Brier on Saturday afternoon at the Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon.
The 2012 Tim Hortons Brier will be on the ice this weekend at Saskatoon’s Credit Union Centre… but the first chance for fans to see the best curlers in the country comes Friday at the preliminary round of the 18th edition of Ford Hot Shots.
Let’s face it, curling is a world-wide phenomena. But, nowhere is it more of an addiction than here in Canada, where fans of the Roarin’ Game can get slap-happy in anticipation of our national championships; where the best of the best from across this curl-crazy land come together to compete for supreme bragging rights.
