Alberta’s Wade White avoided tiebreakers earning his way into Saturday night’s semi final with a 9-6 win over a stubborn Northern Ontario team skipped by Bruce Munro at the 2013 Canadian Senior Men’s Curling Championship at the Silver Fox Curling & Yacht Club in Summerside, PEI.
It was a great day for Canada at the Karuizawa International Curling Championships, with our women winning gold and our men taking home silver.
I must admit our team has had some odd requests since our win last Feb 2010, but I do think this one topped them all!
I flew to Toronto a few months back – out from Calgary at 5 pm and back home the next day at 3pm. Quick trip, for a great cause. It was the Microsoft Xbox launch M4M (Mission for Miracles) event.
