Many of my friends have been asking me if there is any chance that Russia will be unable to complete the venues in time to host the 2014 Winter Olympics
It’s an amazing experience as a curling fan to see a young athlete turn around and say “How was that Coach?” and the person answering is a current high performance curler in our country. That was our reality this past weekend at our La Releve Camp in Edmonton.
In April, about a month after the Olympic/Paralympic Games, Olympic and Paralympic athletes and coaches were invited to Ottawa to be recognized for their successes in Parliament and to celebrate with each other in Montreal at a parade and Gala! It was a terrific end to a great year in curling!
