Ontario Women, Alberta Men win 2012 The Dominion Curling Club Championship

Ontario and Alberta are the winners of the 2012 The Dominion Curling Club Championship. In Finals action today at the Scarboro Golf and Country Club, Ontario’s Caroline Deans and her team of Sheri-Lynn Collyer (Third), Kendra Lafleur (Second), Lynne Stapley (Lead) won the Women’s title and Alberta’s Dan Sherrard (Skip), Brandon Klassen (Third), Kyle Reynolds (Second) and Todd Kaasten won the Men’s.

 
On to the Finals at The Dominion Curling Club Championship

After a day of tie-breakers and semi-finals, the final four teams are set to compete for the Men’s and Women’s titles at the 2012 The Dominion Curling Club Championship.

The last four draws of round robin competition at the fourth annual The Dominion Curling Club Championships wrapped up on Thursday, positioning Manitoba and Saskatchewan at the top of the Men’s division, and Ontario and Manitoba atop the Women’s.

 
Day Three at The Dominion Curling Club Championship

The leaders are starting to emerge at the fourth annual The Dominion Curling Club Championship taking place at the Scarboro Golf and Country Club this week. After Day Three of the round robin competition, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta sit undefeated at the top of the Men’s standings, and Ontario holds the undefeated position in the Women’s, with Manitoba, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia close behind.

 
Leaders Emerge on Day Two of The Dominion Curling Club Championship

On Day Two of round robin play at the fourth annual The Dominion Curling Club Championship, teams from the Prairies continued to dominate on the Men’s side, while four teams remain undefeated on the Women’s.
