Friday November 12th Scotties volunteers were on hand to take in some of the action at the 2010 Sobey’s Slam in New Glasgow, NS.
There is a lot of work to be done and a world-class event like this one couldn’t be a success without the hard work and dedication of volunteers.
The 2011 Tim Hortons Brier recently held separate events for their Sponsors and Volunteers in London, Ontario.
2011 Scotties Tournament of Hearts volunteer rally was held Saturday, October 23rd 2010, at the Charlottetown Curling Club.
Recently I was contacted by my friends at the Canadian Curling Association to assist a curling club, which had questions about ‘risk management’ of their Little Rock and youth program and the need for police checks of volunteers. I would like to share the information, which was passed on, plus more.
