For many curling facilities across the country, April is the month of closing bonspiels, awards presentations and – for some – lacing up skates (instead of sliders) to destroy a season’s worth of pebbled ice.
The Canadian Curling Association, nominated by the Canadian Sport Tourism Alliance (CSTA) for two of its Season of Champions events, won in both categories at the 2012 PRESTIGE Awards today in Richmond, British Columbia.
