About the Event

The Ryder Cup of Curling, a unique curling competition where points are available from four disciplines: Mixed Doubles, Singles, Team & Skins play. The first team to get to 31 points will be declared the winner and awarded the coveted Event Trophy.

The World Financial Group Continental Cup brings together 12 of the best curling teams in the world – 6 representing Team World and 6 representing Team North America. Each team is made up of 3 men’s teams and 3 women’s teams. Team North America has won 4 Continental Cups and Team World has won 4.

Teams confirmed for the event in Penticton: Kevin Martin, Glenn Howard, Jennifer Jones, and Heather Nedohin. Tom Brewster (Scotland), Mirjam Ott (Switzerland), Thomas Ulsrud (Norway), Eve Muirhead (Scotland), Niklas Edin (Sweden), & Margaretha Sigfridsson (Sweden).
