Twelve men’s and 12 women’s teams will compete in a round robin format, with three teams advancing to playoffs.

The winners represent Canada at the 2013 World Seniors.

Pre-Qualifying for the 2012 CANADIAN SENIORS   

“Member Associations have equitable opportunity for their affiliated curlers to access Canadian Championships, recognizing diverse conditions such as geographical size, proximity and the numbers of competitors may vary considerably between Member Associations.”

At the 2012 Canadian Seniors in Abbotsford, BC, pre-qualification based on equitable opportunity to access championships will be held March 15 at the Langley CC for the MAs who are ranked 11-14 (both men & women) based on their 3 year win total (2009-10-11). (Nunavut – both genders – has not competed in the Seniors and they are ranked 14th for each gender as a first time participant and not by a win/loss record.)
