A.F. Angus of Regina, Saskatchewan was one of the first presidents of a provincial association.

Born Bathgate, Scotland, July 18, 1857. Came to Canada, 1877;

Has been in service of Bank of Montreal thirty years; with Bank of Montreal, Brockville, Ont., 1879-1887;
Montreal, 1887-1891; Winnipeg, 1891-1901; Regina, since 1901. (Retired 1920 moved to Victoria)

President Royal Regina Golf Club 1906-1920, (Longest standing President in Club History)

Member of Board of Governor Saskatchewan University.

Member Board of Governors Regina General Hospital.

Married Mary Louisa Gilmour, daughter of late William Gilmour, Brockville; had two sons and one daughter.
